PhD candidate Carolin Hirsch was recently featured in an article of the "Passauer Neue Presse". In the interview with the local newspaper she discusses her project "Activist becomings in contemporary Myanmar" and shares insights of her work with Burmese Punks.

He is currently substituting for Professor Judith Beyer.  He will teach "The State: Ethnographic Perspectives" (BA seminar) and "Anthropology of the State: Theory, Ethnography, Critique " (MA seminar) as well as a seminar en bloque on "The Politics of Place and Space".

Carolin Hirsch, PhD candidate at the working group Political Anthropology has co-founded an initiative for awareness raising of sexual harassment and assault in the public space.

During the summer term, Mateusz Laszczkowski from the University of Warsaw has accepted the substitute professorship to teach courses in political anthropology.
