18:45 - 20:15

Speaker:
Felix Klein, Federal Government Commissioner for Jewish Life in Germany and the Fight against Anti-Semitism

This event is part of an event series „The Hamas-Israel War and Antisemitism. Facts & Discussion (online seminar series in cooperation with Tel Aviv University)“.

The Hamas massacre of 1.200 innocent women, men and children in Israel on October 7, 2023 was more than a large scale terror attack. It was the manifestation of hatred that is so extreme that it leads to the complete dehumanization of its victims. October 7 is not the first example of how antisemitism serves as the driving force in many extremist ideologies. How does antisemitic extremism work? How does it lead to violence? And what can we do about it?

This event  is part of a seminar series in cooperation with Tel Aviv University. This lecture is in German language only. More information can be found on the website https://www.unikn-tau.net/
