Grant from German Research Found (DFG):
The German Research Found (DFG) will provide 1,400.000 euros for a period of three years for the research project ”New migrants and refugees in Germany: processes of settlement and integration in comparative perspective“.
In this project, directed by Claudia Diehl (University of Konstanz), Matthias Koenig (University of Göttingen) and Cornelia Kristen (University Bamberg), in a new survey panel about 6,000 migrants will be interviewed. There are current plans to complement the survey project with additional corresponding projects on attitudes among the majority population (quantitative and qualitative projects) as well as on an internationally comparative perspective (i.e. Germany and Canada).
