Die AG Ethnologie mit Schwerpunkt politische Anthropologie heißt Dr. Lena Rose herzlich als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin von Prof. Dr. Judith Beyer willkommen! Dr. Rose ist Expertin für Politik-, Rechts- und Religionsethnologie.

Judith Beyer published a chapter on „Law“ in Central Asia: Contexts for Understanding -- the most comprehensive introduction to the region available for students and general readers alike“. The book came out with the University of Pittsburgh Press.

On the occasion of the jurist Eugen Ehrlich’s centenary, Prof. Judith Beyer has been invited to present a paper at the Sorbonne in Paris. She will speak about "The law of others: Legal anthropology between pluralism, indigeneity and alterity“.

Judith Beyer has published a peer-reviewed article in the journal Dialectical Anthropology on "The common sense of expert activists: practitioners, scholars, and the problem of statelessness in Europe".

Prof. Dr. Judith Beyer und Dr. Lena Rose organisieren gemeinsam das Panel "Hope and Transformation in a Context of Uncommoning: Battles Over Plausibility and Credibility in Asylum Procedures in Europe" für die EASA Konferenz 2022 in Belfast.

Am 11. und 12. Juli 2022 wird der Workshop "Staatenlosigkeit. Ein Dialog" stattfinden, der von Prof. Dr. Judith Beyer und Jessica Schmieder, M.A. organisiert wird und Teil einer Lehrveranstaltung im Master Ethnologie und Soziologie ist.

Prof. Dr. Judith Beyer wird am 23. Juni 2022 um 14.30 Uhr einen Vortrag zum Thema "Crisis, Activism and Kom’iuniti. The New Feminist Movement in Kyrgyzstan" an der Universität Neapel im Rahmen der Konferenz "Explaining Crisis beyond Chaos: the Middle East and North Africa in Global Change" halten.

Am Mittwoch, den 22.06.22 findet um 15.15 Uhr eine HYBRIDE Informationsveranstaltung für alle Studieninteressierten des Masterstudiengangs Ethnologie und Soziologie statt.

Am 17.05.2022 beginnt der Bewerbungszeitraum für den Masterstudiengang Ethnologie und Soziologie an der Uni Konstanz für das Wintersemester 2022/2023. Der Bewerbungszeitraum endet am 15. Juli 2022.
